Victoria Daskal is a wine writer, educator, and consultant with over 15 years of experience in the international wine industry. She is passionate about sharing wine through the lens of history, culture, and the arts.
A regular contributor to leading publications including Decanter and the Financial Times, Victoria also serves as a judge at international wine competitions and advises emerging global wine brands. She develops and leads wine and gastronomy tours across France for Martin Randall Travel and curates tastings for trade, corporate, and consumer audiences.
Victoria specialises in French wine, with a particular focus on the Loire Valley, where she has strong personal and professional ties. She regularly presents masterclasses and trade tastings on topics including the Loire, Beaujolais, Provence and sparkling wine.
After completing the OIV MSc in International Wine Management, Victoria worked with Jancis Robinson MW before serving as Managing Editor of The World of Fine Wine for six years. She holds a WSET Diploma with Merit and teaches at WSET School London.
