Good Wine Good People is an e-commerce wine retail platform serving UK consumers. It was founded in 2020 by Dan Belmont, a London-based New Yorker whose career as a wine educator and presenter has helped spread the love of wine on both sides of the Atlantic for over a decade. Dan is the Wine Ambassador for Liebherr UK and proudly supports the New York Wine & Grape Foundation, along with a variety of international trade associations and producers, as a presenter, educator, and judge. In 2022, he authored the latest edition of the New York State Wine Reference Guide.
In February 2024, Good Wine Good People launched its import arm, which now represents over 80 wines from 18 producers across 8 countries. The import portfolio includes a growing number of old vine wines, with notable examples from Australia, Austria, Spain, and Chile.
