The Old Vine Conference Trade & Media Tasting, June 2025

The Old Vine Conference Trade & Media Tasting, June 2025

Our third year hosting one of the largest global tastings of old‑vine wines took place on Tuesday 17th June at Vagabond Wines, in the heart of the City of London. With 150 remarkable old-vine wines from regions spanning Argentina to South Africa, Italy to Australia, and beyond, our annual London tasting truly showcased the depth and diversity of old‑vine heritage.

Photos of the day taken by Thomas Skovsende captured the energy in the room so beautifully and we will leave them to do the talking while we take this opportunity to extend huge thanks to those that participated with their wines and attended as a guest including:

All our fabulous wineries & importers - for bringing their extraordinary wines and sharing their passion and stories with our guests.

Masterclass hosts whose engaging sessions provided richness and context to the old vine movement and the wines being made in South Africa by members of The Old Vine Project, in Beaujolais by the producers behind Terroirs Originels, in Chile by the collective VIGNO and by Plaimont the cooperative in Gascony.

Every trade guest and media attendee whose curiosity, conversation, and enthusiasm brought this event to life exploring, tasting, and connecting with our vibrant old‑vine community.

Our amazing venue supporter Vagabond Wines whose super-hero team kept things flowing, from logistics to hospitality and everything inbetween.

And Wine Logistics who moved heaven and earth to make sure all the wines and tasting equipment was present and correct!

Together, we’re not just tasting wines - we’re building a movement and creating a category that champions old vines, their conservation and the wines they make.

We hope you can be part of our next old vine tasting event!
